(Note: This is not an 'In-depth review' or anything similar. My main intention was to upload pictures from the event and to give a brief overview of the day. Enjoy)
Let's start off by applauding the organizers of this event, Last Lion Lifestyle, Cars & Coffee as well as Audi Center Cape Town (the host of the starting point) for putting together this amazing event!
The amount of cars that showed up were amazing. We're talking just about everything from BMW M2's to R8 GT's to Aventador SV's and pretty much everything you can imagine.
The destination for the day was Opstal Estate, Rawsonville, and the drive there was fantastic. Starting at Audi Center Cape Town then driving along the N1 highway. The first pitstop was at Engen N1, which allowed those who were separated from the pack, to regroup.
From there we headed back onto the N1 taking the Dutoitskloof Pass turnoff and had some fun on the mountain pass. We then lined up to blast one by one through a short tunnel, thereafter making our second stop on the bridge while we waited for everyone to finish making noise in the tunnel.
From there we blasted (tad bit of exaggeration there) through the remaining roads towards our destination, meeting a few overwhelmed fans long the way (including a police officer). This has been my first time experiencing a supercar run, and I couldn't have enjoyed myself more!
