Mini to bring back JCW GP model

Previously, we have had two generations of the GP under the ownership of BMW and the owner of the brand confirms another model is on its way.

Company boss, Peter Schwarzenbauer says that the JCW GP is an important part of the Mini brand. It has worked well for them in the past, so he doesn't see why not in the future.

The previous model JCW GP was the most hardcore Mini you could get, with stripped rear seats; a rollcage; adjustable suspension; upgraded power and a hardcore chassis tune. Not many made it to SA, about 30 of them, in fact here is one for sale. Mini tends to push out the GP near the end of the production lifespan of the hatch, around 2020 when it will most likely stop being produced.
