According to Audi Sport and former Lamborghini boss, Stephan Winkelmann, an additional eight RS models will be added to the RS range by 2018.
Cars likely to get the RS treatment include the A1 and Q5, a new RS4 and maybe even a twin-turbo V6 R8.
Despite AMG sales going through the roof, Audi Sports' new models will be developed in a different direction, according to Winkelmann, but unfortunately he never specified exactly which direction the cars will be developed saying "It is better to under-promise and over-deliver."
Adding eight more models to the existing range (consisting of RS3, RS Q3, R8, RS6, RS7, TT RS Coupe and TT RS Convertible) it should boost the sales of the division and will give customers a vast variety to pick from.
